A. Front squat – Work up to a heavy set of 5.
B. Outside, if possible:
5 rounds for time of:
1 lap sled pull (facing away from sled)
1 lap sled drag (facing towards sled, with row)
2 laps farmer’s carry (2 DBs or KBs) (70/55).
Approximate sled weight guidelines – Men – 0.75x bodyweight, Women 0.5x bodyweight.
**The Manitoba Open weightlifting competition is today, and it will be held at the Gritty Grotto (lower floor of the Frank Kennedy Centre at University and Dafoe on the U of M campus). The women will lift starting at 10:30 am, and the men will lift at 12 noon. It sounds like it’s a small meet (6 women and 12 men), so show up at those times so you don’t miss the lifting.
