A. High hang snatch – Work up to a heavy set of 2 .
B. 12 min AMRAP of:
3 DB snatches per arm (heaviest possible)
6 strict pullups
12 situps
Here’s another slo-mo olympic lifting video from the CrossFit Journal with Chad Vaughn, this time of the clean and jerk.
But why are we running TOWARDS the fire?
hahahaha mara, too funny!!!!
Maybe you thought there’d be hotdogs and marshmallows three!
Hahaha good thinking Colleen!
A. Worked several sets at 65# to finally get under the bar, then a couple at 70.
B. 8 + 10 using a 40# DB (thanks Jay!) and ring rows. Ring rows were the limiting factor by far. I think I could have used 45 for the DB. Fun working out with Agatha today and watching all the peeps throw down in the next class.
A. this one was tough!!! worked up to 55#, thanks Colin for calling out my form! it made a difference! but that should be no surprise 🙂
B. 9+9. used a 25# DB and strict pullups were scaled to ring rows…there was more calling out on my form for the DB thrusters…i will get it yet, giggle, giggle!!
glad to hear your back Agatha!!!!
A) High hang snatch 90#
B) 10 + 9, 40# DB, ring rows
A. Worked up to 125# for the high hang snatch, but Jay pointed out my dip was flawed. I dropped back to 115 to make the correction and had to move on. I feel like I’m slowly improving at this movement.
B. 8 rounds + 1 snatch, with a 70# DB. Pullups were all completed without coming off the bar, which I was happy about. The snatches were heavy, and required a lot focus and a good setup, which is basically what I had intended with this workout.
