A. Clean and jerk – Work up to a heavy set of the following: 1 clean + 1 split jerk + 1 split jerk (opposite leg forward). Focus on form and footwork.
B. 4 rounds for time of:
8 deadlifts at bodyweight or 50%, whichever is less.
12 ring push-ups (these may be scaled if required)
8 weighted lunges per leg (55/35 or an appropriate scaling).
A) 130#
B) 10:32 35# for lunges, 125# DL
A. 65#. Gotta say this movement really intimidates me, but I was pleased with how it went today!
B. DL 85#, Modified the rest, push-ups on box, and step ups instead. Was hard, but a gooder !!
A) 175#, but worked with a Push Jerk as my broken toe really didn’t like being driven into the ground.
B) 185# DL, 55# KB front squats in lieu of lunges. 6:XX something. The push-ups seemed to be the movement where I could catch my breath a little.
Great job by everyone that did this, there was awesome energy in the gym as people were challenging themselves.
