A. Handstand practice
B. 12 minute AMRAP of:
12 box jumps
9 DB push presses
6 strict chest-to-rings pull-ups.
**Here is an outline of the gym hours for the next two and a half weeks:
Wed Dec 18th – 9 am and 12 noon classes are cancelled. We have a few groups of high school kids coming by for tours as part of a larger event the school is putting on. I think it’s put on by the Phys Ed department, and they are visiting various fitness and sports facilities around town. It’s a pretty cool idea, if you ask me.
Dec 23 – Regular hours
Dec 24, 25, 26 – Closed
Dec 27, 28, 30 – Regular hours
Dec 31 – Noon class ONLY.
Jan 1 – Team workout at 2 pm.
Regular classes resume Jan 2.
Looks like a good one! I look forward to doing this one on Friday 🙂
A. Did some handstand work. Very pleased that I managed at least 10 seconds (unbroken :)) of crow stand. Have finally figured out how not to destroy my triceps with my knees. Progress.
B. 6 + 12, using 20″ box, 35# DB and ring rows. Very happy with the 35# PP, as I was pretty sure before I started that I would have to drop the weight or the reps at some point during the WOD.
A) First class doing handstands. Interesting is what I have to say on this and no more.
B)6+12 16″ box, 20#DB and ring rows.
I think that is a great that the schools are showing the kids what it out there. I think the Physical Education is lacking from what I am told by my daughter.
A) Handstand work is always fun. Working on getting up in a tuck position. Managed to hold a one handed handstand for maybe half a second.
B) I did 9 flat using 20″ box, 15# for the pp, and doing ring rows. I’m thinking I could have used 20# but my arms were feeling jello-y after playing on our new rope. Next time!
