If you are participating in the CrossFit Games Open and can’t make it out on Saturday, you may do the 14.1 WOD at 11 am today with Robin. Please let us know if neither of these times work for you and we’ll figure something out.
For those who aren’t competing, today is the usual Friday’s choose your own adventure. Skill work of your choice, plus a conditioning workout from earlier this week OR an entire workout from earlier this week.
Today I did the Crossfit open wod. Had to modify with 35 lbs for the snatches. I managed to do 2 rounds plus 42. Good luck to everyone participating in the open!

223. Tough, but so much better than in 2011 when I had to scale the DU’s.
Thanks to Janelle, who volunteered to judge so that Kelly and I could throw down together. And just for being awesome in general.

I walked in yesterday an hour early ’cause I had never gotten a DU yet. So I thought I would go in and ‘practice’. With some awesome coaching from Robin I got my DU’s!! There was heaps of screaming, high five-ing and I think I was tearing. My goal from then was to make it throw one round, which I did and I even strung 7 DU’s together!!!
I’m thinking of spending time this weekend working on the DU’s and see if I can beat my score Monday morning, which was 62.
