In preparation for some new PRs, the PR board has been erased. If you need anything from it (you shouldn’t, because you’re writing all your workouts and lifts down… right?), here’s the last known photo of the board.
A. CrossFit Total – Find your 1 rep max back squat, press, and deadlift. Your score is the sum of the highest weights lifted for all three lifts. Check out Mark Rippetoe’s article in the CrossFit Journal, and particularly his words about choosing your weights. Come in with a plan. You get three official attempts (not counting warm-up sets), so choose wisely.
Feel free to post your results below.
140lb back squat (still can’t beat that as my 1 rep max and hardly got 140 today in the first place lol), 87.5lb press (2.5lb PR) and 225lb deadlift. That’ll do 🙂
I managed a 240 squat, which has been years in the making. I haven’t been able to get past 237.5 in at least 2 years, so that was a huge breakthrough. Persistence pays off. 100 press, and a 330 deadlift, also a PR. This is the first time I have ever PR’d both squat and deadlift in a CFT. Awesome to see so many strong folks doing this one!
I got a 200lb back squat! I wanted that so badly! It was super tough though. That was a 10lb PR. And then a 90lb press, which was a 5lb PR and a 240lb deadlift, which is also a 5lb PR.
It was awesome seeing where people have come from in the past year and watching them push themselves to get a true 1RM!
Great job everyone! It’s a good way to cap off a year of hard work.
