“Why would anyone do that to themselves?” 🤔
If you don’t work out regularly, it can be hard to wrap your head around why anyone would do challenging workouts, day after day, week after week.
We asked our members what they feel after a tough workout.
– “Honestly I’ve learned to love that exhausted feeling and seeing what my body is capable of. I think for me the changes that come with the long term exposure is what keeps me coming back, the self confidence, improved mood, and seeing the improvements in my times/lifts and performance.”
– “Every time I finish a workout that I feel that is out of my comfort zone (most of them lol!), I feel stronger and more alive then before! The support of my teammates and my coach make me realize that I can accomplish anything that I use to get away from because I was ashamed of my mobility issues and lack of cardio!”
– “I feel alive because I’m tired after pushing myself out of my comfort zone and moving my body in ways I never thought I could. It feels great to be stronger and more able than I think I am! And I get a wee bit better every time – that’s why I go back.”
So… while a workout might be challenging, it’s worth it.
